Paniza Última Garnacha Edición Limitada 2015

It is said that when Etta James wrote the legendary song ‘At Last,’ it was not inspired by a much-anticipated romance, as many believe, but for her time spent making wine in the Aragon region of Spain, at the Paniza Winery. Months she waited for the Grenache to ripen, and as other growers were harvesting, still Paniza’s grapes hung on the vines.

You see, for Paniza U’ltima Garnacha, grapes are selected from high altitude sites that take the longest time to fully-ripen yet, because of this, create wine with unprecedented depth and aromatic complexity. When Etta took a sip of the red fruit flavoured wine, complimented by chocolate and balsamic notes that concluded with an elegant, lengthy finish, the refrain burst out of her, “At last! My Garnacha has come along!”
