Terre de Mistral Châteauneuf-du-Pape: a warm and rich red wine, perfect for the most memorable celebrations!
Born from Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre grapes, it expresses the richness and typicality of its terroir, as well as the experience of a famous wine estate, runned by the vigneron Rémy Ferbras.
In fact, Maison Grandes Serres, founded in 1977, lies in the heart of the appellation Châteauneuf du Pape, in the southern Côtes du Rhône.
A territory renowned, since the fourteenth century, for the charm of its red wines, loved even by the popes who had chosen this place as their summer residence.
Partly aged in oak barrels, up to 18 months, it completes its fruity and grassy charm, with a background of savory spicy and toasted notes. A full bodied sip, with creamy tannins and a lingering taste.
Strong Points: very ripe and spicy flavour, a round and supple taste.
Occasions to enjoy it: this wine, from southern France, will warm up the most important holydays, with friends and parents, like Christmas, Easter and Anniversaries.
Best Food Pairings: beef, duck, pork, chicken, mushrooms, spicy and sweet and sour meat recipes, aged cheeses and soft cow’s-milk cheeses.
Best served at: 16/18 °C – 60/64 °F
